Five Cats

Not very well today so i’ve been looking for things to keep me occupied while i battle the flu. Found a few games to play at some little game sites. There’s one particular game called bubble Bubble Bobble revival that i’ve been particularly addicted too. Anyway, i need to go and get some lemsip. I’ll write another post in a few days when i’m hopefully better!

Hope everyone is enjoying their festivities! Today we had an excellent time eating a bit too much and  playing lots games with all the family and friends. It’s not every day that allowed to play games such as Operation. I’m absolutely stuffed after my friends amazing Christmas meal. I think i’ve had a few too many beers aswell :S I think later on we’re going to be watching lord of the rings… not sure what i think about that yet, but i’m sure another beer will get me through

Today I’ve been sneakily playing a free internet games at work. These games are so very addictive, it’s not even funny! My favourite at the mo is Deluxe pool and a game called law of the west. Law of the west is a pinball game, which is extremely addictive and fun. NOt sure i’ve seen many pinball games that are so well made on the net. The visuals are top notch, as are the sounds. Anyway, i should get back to work, and not be posting on this blog or playing flash games!

Bit of a rant post really. The other day the Bank of England cut interest rates by 1$, from 3% to 2%. Apparently Halifax won’t be passing on the entire cut to Variable Rate mortgage customers, which unfortunately I am one of. They’ll be passing on a measly 0.25%. I’m a bit annoyed really, considering they’ve been given billions of tax payers money in the bailout. So Thanks a lot Halifax!

So, i was shopping for a few bits and bobs today at Tescos. I’d gathered all my usual stuff and though i’d treat myself to a dessert. As i’d put it into my basket, a lady came up to me and rudely suggested that i let her have that particular one. I thought "what the hell… there are plenty of other desserts - the CHEEK!". So i just said sorry mate, it’s my favourite (lol). She went off into a huff towards her husband, her decided to give me evils. I just carried on with my business then, as i was about to queue at the shortest line i could find, i was barged out of the way. As you’d expect, i was quite startled, lol! I looked over and it was the husband of the lady who wanted my desert. I wasn’t about to cause a sence of something so trivial, so i just queue up over at the next one. The things people do when they dont get their own way!

So lately I’ve been thinking I’d really like to get a dog. My cats are lovely and all, dogs are different. They are to show their feelings more. They get excited about things…. like Sunday roast scraps… and mysterious anonymous noises from next door. They protect you from strangers and guard the house. But with those joyful behaviors comes a need for more attention and training, since they are generally dependent beast, unlike our feline friends. I wonder how the cats would take to a dog entering our lives. My friend previously had a dog, but it was a timid little chap, and when a cat was introduced into the environment, it just made the dog go deeper into it’s own shell. So I suppose, it’s important to get a dog with a personality that could get along with other animals. Plus, how am i going to change the name of this blog to five cats and a dog?

Was watching tv today with my friend Haley and there was a progrma on about wild cats kept in a sanctuary over in New Zealand. They had kept  this white tiger there from birth to adult hood, but it sadly died, leaving behind several cubs. It was sooo sad. I held back the tears, but Haley was welling up bless her! The cubs are really cute, and I’m sure the workers there will look after them very well, plus they’ve got each other. The workers held a burial for the mother. Rather depressing really!

The popularity of  Flash games has  risen hugely over the last few years. There are so many Flash game sites out there and more and more people are joining the game development scene. My friend, who’s a teacher says 13 year olds are now learning to code in Flash actionscipt! When i was at schoo, all we had was a word processor on a BBC computer. Oh have times moved on!

Anyway, I’ve been playing alot of a Flash game called Zombie Wars lately. It really is a hugely enjoyable game. Basically you’re a guy who must survive an onaslaugh of zombies around you. You have various weapons at your disposal, include a machine gun and rocket launcher. So give it a go if you have some time!

Hi all, so i though i would start a blog to write about my thoughts on anything in particular So why the name five cats, you may ask.. Well i have 5 cats: Bob, Belle, Chimba, Willis & Trix, so i thought it’d be a decent name lol. Sometime I’ll post a few pics of them for you all to see I’m sure everyone on the net is rushing to view my blog as i type, or not, seeing as there millions of other blogs out there! So anyhow when i think of something decent to write, I’ll post again
